What are the sponges made from?
The sponge layer is plant-based cellulose. The scourer is a blend of 50% coconut fibre and 50% polyester.
Are they compostable?
The cellulose sponge layer composts within 6 months. The coconut fibre in the scourer breaks down into organic matter, but the polyester doesn't biodegrade, so the scourer shouldn't go in your compost.
Are they safe for non-stick pans?
Yes, they are gentle and non-scratching.
Can I put them in the dishwasher?
Yes, they are dishwasher washable.
